What you will gain:
As part of the apprenticeship, you will be working towards a workplace training plan within our organisation as well as working towards the apprenticeship framework components with Wolverhampton College. Over the course of a 3-year period the candidate will achieve the following qualification:
- Science Manufacturing Technical Apprenticeship Level 3
The role of the Polymer Engineering Apprentice:
- Assist in setting of the Injection moulding machines to the optimum conditions to achieve quality components.
- Assisting in the execution of Colour, Insert, printer and mould changes.
- Assist in the quality inspection and testing processes
- To assist in running and troubleshooting of our automated mould lines and Kuka robots.
- To assist our Senior Operators in ensuring all shift production requirements are met. Assisting with staff coverage during breaks and championing and maintaining a 5s culture.

Hours of work:
You will be working on the Panama Continental Shift pattern, which consists of 12-hour shifts alternating between days and nights, including weekends and bank holidays.
